Help us build our school! We are fundraising for the first Survival Arts Training & Healing Center in the Philippines

We’re ready to lay down a foundational school for our global community

Since 2017, Survival Arts Academy has been leading a movement teaching the knowledge and skills needed to protect and survive. We have continued to elevate our grassroots educational work, seeking out a space that will best serve our students and community.

Using the earth as our classroom for the last 8 years of trainings across the U.S. and 5 years of offering retreats in the Philippines, we have grown in our capacity to host students from across the globe to experience true cultural immersion and engage with ancient practices of Movement as Medicine, the fighting arts & healing arts including: Kali / Filipino Martial Arts for Self-Protection, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Meditation, Talk Circles, Herbalism, Massage, and Manual Therapy. We have established an international community of teachers, students, healers, artists and leaders currently seeking space to do this work. We have traveled around the islands in search of a home for our students and growing movement. Now, we have found it.

This is where our brick & mortar school begins. We believe that a physical school on the islands that hold the roots of our ancestral teachings is the next step in our commitment to growing our cultural capacity in the most authentic and honorable way possible. Our goal is to join forces with key alliances to establish a system of reciprocity with the lands & elders that hold the knowledge that the world has been directly benefiting from, by creating the first Survival Arts Training & Healing Center in the Philippines, dedicated to the preservation & teaching of the ancestral practices of our lineages.

Establishing a Cultural Arts Training and Healing Center — the first of its kind — is an answer to a deeper ancestral calling, to honor the roots of where our ancient fighting arts came from that allowed us to survive until today, and to preserve the traditions for the next generations to come. Help us make our shared vision become a dream come true!
